Spring Haul! ♥

As it is Spring time, i felt it was time to brighten up my rooms at my mum's and at my home in Newcastle! So above are a few things I purchased that I thought would help me achieve that.

I purchased 3 candles in lovely pastel shades. I think the two in jars with handles are made to be hung in the garden, as I found them in the garden isle! But I fell in love with their fresh spring smells. The pink one in particular is absolutely amazing! It literally smells like a bouquet of flowers! I got way too excited in the shop about this... But hey! My rooms are gonna smells so fresh!

Fairy lights! I think every girly girl's room should have these twinkly little lights scattered around somewhere. They just instantly make a space more cosy and inviting! I picked up these's adorable butterfly and dragonfly battery powered lights from B&M bargains, for £1.99! I'll probably attach them to my bed headboard, as they're bright enough to have on at night while i read or watch a film.

I needed a lamp for my mum's as I'm one of those people who sleeps a lot sounder when I can see my surroundings, and if anyone was to creep up on me, I'd have a better chance of reacting. I wouldn't say i'm afraid of the dark, i just prefer me some light! I got this 3 cracked glass ball lamp from B&M for £9.00! The teal coloured lamp shade goes really well with my blue decor, and just looks overall stylish on my small white room table.

I'm in love with this beautiful, vibrant duvet cover, it's instantly makes me feel happy and gets me in the summer mood!

I was so excited to find the Chinese versions of the Maybelline Baby Lips in a B&M bargains! There
were 4 different flavours, but the two I purchased were Anti-oxidant Berry (blue and pink packaging) and Mango Pie (pink and yellow). They smell and taste amazing! They are both clear balms, which was a little disappointing, but none of the less still very tasty and moisturizing!

The other beauty item I bought was the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in the shade Ivory as I have
read a bunch of good reviews and when trying a small amount out on my hand I liked the lightweight feel. I also have the concealer from the Wake Me Up line in the same shade, which I have been using for a couple of months now, I love it!

I'm not one for splashing out the cash on high brand perfumes as I just haven't found one that I think it worth the money. This So Eternal perfume is an old favorite as it's smells lovely, is such a good price and sleek bottle makes it easy just to throw in my handbag!

Elsa from Frozen inspired hair ♥

 Frozen inspired hair! ♥

It is no secret, I am a huge fan of the Disney movie, Frozen. It seems almost impossible for me to get through a day without singing the songs, weather that be out loud or in my head. They're so catchy!

Not only are the songs appealing to me, but the message the whole movie provides warms my heart too. I think to be honest the reason I like this particular Disney movie so much is because it's a little more realistic when it comes to love. It tells us that flaws are okay, people don't needed to be 'perfect', oh and you can't marry someone you've just met!
My favourite part of all has to be the ending, as the majority of Disney movies end with the princes saving the princesses, but not this one. It shows that the love of a sibling is just as strong, if not stronger. The first Disney movie that teaches young girls the prince isn't everything, to look a little deeper and see that all the love they need is already there.

This Elsa inspired hair style was so easy to do and looks great for the spring time to wear with dresses and skirts! I have very curly, usually frizzy hair so I found spraying my hair all over with the vo5 weather resistant hairspray helped to hold in any fly aways, and overall gave a nicer smoother appearance to the whole look! Hair grips are a requirement also I must of used at least 20!

Lacura Beauty, Products Review ♥

In the last few weeks i have tried out some of the products from Lacura Beauty, which is a make up brand exclusive to Aldi stores.

Below are a few product I've tried out:

First off, we will start with Lacura Beauty's compact powder in Transparent, it has a cute little metallic case that contains the powder, a applicator and a mirror for easy application. Now i am not fussy when it comes to powders, but some can wear off quickly or dry my skin out. Although with this powder that is definitely not the case! It stays on the face all day and does not become patchy or make the skin dry, i think it is very similar to any high brand powder out there, for a fraction of the price! (£2.39)

I have so many good things to say about this lipstick! Its a beautiful, bright red colour, number 404, and i love how the case looks like a bullet! Once applied on the lips it feels very moisturizing. The colour has a matte finish, It stays on really well, and damn, it even smells good!
I'm in love with it, it is definitely my go to red lipstick, if I'm wanting a all day bright lip colour! (£1.99)

This nail polish is great, its a lovely blue/green colour, although it looks more blue on the photo... The brush is thick and can paint the nail with one stroke. Aldi have more colours, but this was the only one that grab my attention! (£1.99)

Lacura Beauty products: A-mazing! There all high quality for such cheap prices, and they all do what there suppose to! It just show you don't always have to buy what everyone says is the best, and the most expensive thing, do some looking around, experiment and you might just find what your looking for!

They also sell foundations, mascara, brushes, blushes, eye shadows, lip gloss, concealer etc. Its basically Aldi's very own beauty counter!
